The OneTouch Verio IQ Meter is a simple blood glucose monitor made to check your blood sugar levels in order to help you manage your diabetes. It has an illuminated test area, a sizable colour display, and an illuminated test strip port, allowing testing in the dark. The test strips don’t need to be coded, and they just take a tiny drop of blood to produce results in just five seconds. It is compatible with OneTouch Verio Test Strips and OneTouch Verio Control Solution.
What to do with this glucometer?
OneTouch Verio IQ Blood Glucose Monitoring System is designed to work with blood samples taken solely from your fingertips or palm. Despite the fact that the OneTouch Delica lancing device only works with OneTouch Delica lancets and is only intended for testing at the fingertip, it cannot be used to sample “alternate” sites like the palm.
Set your high and low limits for your blood glucose level results before testing so you will know when you are in a healthy range and when you are not.
Use the test strip as soon as you remove it from the vial after opening the test strip vial only when you are prepared to perform a blood test. Test strips are single-use only.
Remove the lancing device cap, place a sterile lancet inside, and then replace the cap by rotating it clockwise to collect a blood sample from your fingertip. The puncture depth setting can then be changed from 1 to 7, and the cocking control is then slid until it clicks. Next, you can activate your OneTouch Verio IQ Meter by inserting a test strip. The two silver prongs on the test strip’s gold side should be facing you as you insert the test strips into the port. The lancing tool should next be firmly pressed against the side of your finger to puncture it. When you have a round drop of blood, apply it to both sides of the test strip so the blood can be detected.

You will have your results ready in five seconds if you wait for the channel to completely fill.
